INDX National Menswear Show | Show Report February 2025
At the beginning of February 2025, over 160 brands showcased their collections at the INDX National Menswear Show, taking up all exhibition halls at its West Midlands event venue, Cranmore Park.
Buyer attendance showed significant growth compared to the previous season and the 3-day event also witnessed strong participation from Members of Associated Independent Stores (AIS).
Highlight brands included Jack & Jones, Ben Sherman, Joe Browns, Casual Friday, Original Penguin, Signal, Mos Mosh, Only & Sons, bugatti, Weird Fish, Marc Darcy, Solid, Signal, Chatham, Blend, Brook Taverner, Olymp, Meyer-Hosen, Digel, and House of Cavani.
This season 34 new exhibitors joined the line-up, including Dockers, Gloverall, Milestone, MAC Jeans, Mousqueton, North Sails, Peckham Rye 1875, Peregrine, Taylor & Hunt, Theorie, plus new footwear from UK Distributors and licenced brands from Inspecs.
Thomas Codd, UK/Ireland Sales Manager, Original Penguin:
We always expect to write orders at the show and this season has been no exception. Footfall has certainly increased versus the summer event, and we are always very excited by the meaningful interest from Ireland.
Rob Beirne, Brand Director at BSI Apparel Limited (licensee and operating partner for Ben Sherman):
The show serves as a key meeting point for retailers to explore Ben Sherman’s latest seasonal collections first-hand before placing their orders. It also provides a valuable platform for meaningful conversations, allowing us to strengthen relationships with independent retailers and gain insights into their evolving needs in the dynamic landscape of men’s retail.
The show remains a key order-writing event for the brand. We’ve welcomed many familiar faces returning this season, along with an encouraging influx of new retailers from the UK and Ireland.
Paul Watson, Co-Owner, Heaphys of Warwick:
It was nice to see exhibitors were busy. We got what we wanted and wrote several orders with some suppliers there. Trade is going to be interesting, particularly with what’s happening in the world at the moment. Where that takes us, we won’t know until it happens, so we are being positive and will keep doing what we are doing.
This season's Barista Bar was sponsored by multi-award-winning Menswear brand Marc Darcy, who are also proud Official Formalwear Partners of West Ham Utd F.C. and Everton F.C.
Cranmore Park’s new hospitality space, ‘The Loft’, played host to the show’s networking social event, providing a relaxed environment for buyers and exhibitors to unwind and connect, with live music, drinks, and canapés.
James Crabtree, Head of Fashion, AIS:
It was great to catch-up with our community of buyers during the show and generally their collective outlook was positive and optimistic.
While the UK retail environment continues to present challenges, those retailers who are effectively connecting with their customers and offering unique propositions are experiencing success.
At INDX we remain dedicated to providing visiting retailers with the best selection of menswear brands, empowering them to fill their stores with merchandise that resonates with their target audience and helps them thrive, and we look forward to doing it all again when we return in July!
