Show report: INDX National Intimate Apparel Show | February 2026 edition

The recent INDX National Intimate Apparel Show at Cranmore Park (8–10 February 2026) reaffirmed its status as the order-writing heartbeat of the UK’s lingerie and hosiery sector.

Set against a backdrop of both market volatility and creative resilience, the show provided a vital platform for over 100 brands to connect with independent retailers and national buyers.

From the latest in high-performance athleisure-lingerie to the resurgence of bold, statement hosiery, the event was a testament to the industry's ability to innovate in the face of a demanding economic climate.

Alongside a plethora of key returning brands, the line-up of newcomers included Enna Moda, M-Club for the Menopause, Their Nibs, Mira, and Wolford.

Highlights

Particular highlights included the Expert Insights programme, led by Helen Masters, Pudding Lingerie, who delivered daily bite-sized sessions offering practical insight and support through 'The WOW Factor' and 'Better Buying' workshops.

Attendees also enjoyed daily fashion shows, this season curated by show partners Underlines Magazine. Bringing key trends to life through products available on the show floor, showcased themes included 'The New Romantics', 'Lets Get Physical', and 'Femme Fatale'.

Commemorating their impressive 150 year milestone, the Chantelle team hosted the Networking Social on Sunday evening. Taking place at The Loft bar & eatery (onsite at Cranmore Park), the industry came together to celebrate, with drinks, cake, and live music.

What's more, Anita hosted an incredibly successful Buyers Breakfast and debut exhibitor Voluptina treated everyone to an award-winning Italian ice-cream from Lanza's.

Navigating industry challenges

It would be remiss to report on the show’s success without acknowledging the significant headwinds currently facing our community. The conversations on the show floor were grounded in reality, highlighting several key pressures:

  • Economic volatility: Rising manufacturing costs and inflation continue to squeeze margins for both suppliers and retailers.

  • Shifting consumer priorities: A distinct move toward value-conscious purchasing means customers are demanding more longevity and versatility from every garment.

  • The sustainability mandate: With 2026 being a year of action for transparency, brands are under pressure to prove their eco-credentials, from recycled lace to biodegradable fibres.

  • Sizing & inclusivity: The industry is navigating a complex demographic shift, requiring a total rethink of pattern-making to support more diverse body shapes and an aging population.

A note of thanks from the organisers

Despite these challenges, the creative output on display was exceptional and James Crabtree, Head of Fashion at AIS commented:

The intimate apparel industry is built on relationships, and in a world of increasing digital noise and economic uncertainty, the continued support of our suppliers, Members, and retailers, and their physical presence at Cranmore Park allow this industry to remain human-centric.

Together, our passion for product and dedication to the independent retail sector will ensure our community doesn't just survive, but evolves. And we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support.
