Founded in 1874, Lyle & Scott is a premium British menswear brand with knitwear, craft and modern style at its core. What began in Hawick has grown into a global name, recognised by the Golden Eagle and worn across fashion, football, golf and music. The brand continues to move between heritage and contemporary culture, creating considered collections for communities who wear clothes with confidence and intent.
For Spring Summer 2027, Lyle & Scott builds on that history with a collection shaped by identity, origin and the cultural energy found outside the traditional fashion capitals. The season looks to second cities, regional creative scenes and overlooked places, reflecting the pride people feel for where they come from and the style codes that grow from those communities.
This influence runs across the collection, from music and football culture to independent creative movements. The result is a grounded take on contemporary British menswear, with familiar Lyle & Scott pieces pushed forward in fabrication, fit and finish.
Knitwear and polo shirts remain central, updated with refined textures, cleaner proportions and elevated construction. Lightweight outerwear continues to expand, introducing softer layering, stronger silhouettes and technical development. Relaxed linen shirting brings ease to the season, while Sportswear continues to evolve as performance-led clothing becomes part of everyday dressing.
Material innovation plays a key role, led by a tartan colour-change jacket that takes a familiar heritage reference into a more experimental space. Alongside the main collection, Lyle & Scott continues to grow its creative partnerships, with new work from Swarovski, Fly Nowhere and Aries sitting alongside the next chapter of Levels.
Spring Summer 2027 reflects a brand building confidently on its past while moving the Golden Eagle into new cultural and creative spaces.
