New Product Team member joins INDX National Intimate Apparel Show to drive success in 2025
Suzanne Johnson brings two decades of fashion retail experience to the table. Having worked across niche brands and high-street giants like Reiss, Ted Baker, and Bravissimo, Suzanne excels in buying, merchandising, and account management. Negotiation is her strength as well as having a strong eye for trends to help AIS Members and INDX visitors make strategic buying decisions. Joining AIS in December 2022, her recent focus has been delivering the retail and buying service offered to AIS fashion and home Members, as well as supporting own label First Avenue.
However, moving forward Suzanne, will be spending more time developing the Intimate Apparel category for INDX Shows. Joining James Crabtree, Head of Fashion and Cheyenne Spears, INDX Event Manager she will support the curation, providing commercially sound shows where ‘business can be done’. James Crabtree says of his colleague:

Suzanne's time at Bravissimo, where she served as Senior Buying Manager, proved to be a valuable learning ground. There, she mastered the art of stock and sales management, emphasising the critical importance of having the right stock available at the right time to maximise sales.
While Intimate Apparel wasn't a specific focus at all her previous brands, Suzanne brings a wealth of transferable skills and achievements. These include a 5% growth in target margin, a successful brand launch in the USA, management of UK wholesale and retail accounts, driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives, and – perhaps most importantly – the ability to forecast and maintain core products, a skillset crucial for any business.
Suzanne will be a key figure at the INDX National Intimate Apparel Shows, offering valuable guidance and assistance to both exhibitors and visitors. She'll be instrumental in connecting independent retailers with the perfect brands for their stores, while also ensuring suppliers have opportunities to showcase their offerings.
